Ground Rules

§ 1. We are playing this game to enjoy ourselves. We are obliged to promote friendship and enjoyment.

§2. We shall remember that there are real people we are playing with. We will communicate respectfully and with good manner, no matter what line of communication we are using. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated. Immature behavior will be moderated. Severe cases of misuse of guild chat can lead to instant removal from guild.

§3. All Guild members, regardless of rank, will have to sign up to our website.


Rank Rules

§4. We have the following ranks:

President, Vice-president, Officers and officers alts, Class leaders, Raiders, Veterans, Members, Probation, shhh…, alts.

§5. Presidency will be changed upon request and demand. We have no rules of election as of today. Vice-Presidents will be decided by the President. Officers will be decided by the President in cooperation with the Vice-Presidents. Class leaders will be decided by the President with cooperation by the Vice-Presidents and officers. Raiders will apply for the rank and promotion/demotion is a discretionary decision by Class leaders. Veterans are promoted to the rank by the President. New Guildees will start as Probation rank. Promotion to membership based on behavior and time. Shh.. Is a quiet place. Alts are for alts of Raiders and down.

§6. Demotions can be done instantly, without notification in advance. Explanation of why shall be given promptly followed up by, or via a PM. Copy of the PM shall be sent to the President.

Invitations to the guild

§7. Any guildee can ask for a family member or personal friend to be invited to the guild. Acceptance of such requests is based on the Guildees history in the guild.

§8. Filling out an application is required for anyone else. For players aspiring towards raider rank application is mandatory regardless of family or friend relations.

§9. Applications will be discussed in public. Invitation is done by the class leader. An officer or higher can veto an accepted application.


The Ranks

§10. The President has full authority to make any decision regarding any aspect of the guild. Every decision shall be based on all available information at the time. All parties have the right to express their opinion. The President is obliged to seek contradiction and fairness. The President has the responsibility for all decisions made. All decisions shall be made with the guilds interest as primary objective. The President can delegate responsibility when required. The normal procedure when any major decision is made shall be discussions within the guild, on the website. Every guildee shall have their chance to speak their mind.

§11. The Vice-President has Presidential powers when the President is not online and an urgent incident has happened.

§12. The officers will contribute with criticism, ideas, information and anything that can be considered relevant in how the guild is run. They shall focus on keeping all the different interests within the guild visible when decisions are made. The Officers will get delegated responsibility if the President see fit.

§13. Class leaders shall primarily be their class` voice within the guild. Class leaders will make sure that their class function as the guild expect. They decide the number of raider ranked “class mates”. They will be the main decision makers in class related questions and discussions. Class leaders must bring their class interest forth when it`s relevant to any discussion held. Class leaders will get delegated responsibility if the President see fit.

§14. Raiders are a rank made for the ease of sorting raids. The sole objective of this rank is to make raids quick and efficient. Any member can apply for this rank. The class restrictions and the gear requirement for the rank are decided by the appropriate class leader. The gear requirement will be based on what instances we are progressing. Class leaders have full discretion to demote raiders of their class if the raider doesn`t fulfill her/his obligations as a raider. The raiders must live by these standards:

*Follow the Raid Rules (see below).
*Accept or decline all raid invitations.
*Always carry gold for repairs and consumables needed for the raid.
*Obey the raid leader when in raid.
*Know tactics for progress fights.

If a raider need a break from raiding or has anything happening in life that prevents her/him from raiding they will inform their class leader. The class leader will demote to membership if she/he sees fit. The player will get promoted back when they are back to full-time play and let the class leader know. If the player has been away for such a long time that the raid spot has been taken, the class leader will bring the decision to the other class leaders/officers/presidency.


§15. Veteran is the honor rank. Raiders that need a break will get this rank. Members with a long history in the guild will get this rank.

§16. Member is the rank for everyone who don`t have a big interest in raids and want to play as they want when they want. Member-rank has no obligation attached to it, other than to live by the ground rules (§1-3).

§17. Shh…is a rank without any privileges. Will be used conservatively, when people break our ground rules.

§18. Probation is the starter rank. The time as probation should be used to get to know the guild and evaluate if this is the right guild for you. Normal probation time is two weeks. Class leaders can decide to reduce the time, decision will be made based on need of the player in raider rank. For people who have been invited to the guild without application the probation time is two weeks.

§19. Alts. Rank for alts, with a minimum of privileges.

Raids and raid rules for Raider ranked

§20. Raiders will receive multiple invitations for 25 man raids each week. As a raider you should accept 50% of the invitations, on average. Failing to do so over a longer period of time will initiate demotion.

§21 Raiders will receive multiple invitations for 10 man raids each week. Teams will be set up in accordance with acceptance. Teams will be picked by a raid organizator. When you get accepted and confirmed to a 10 man team you have a strong obligation to be available to the team for the rest of the save.

§22. Raiders cannot “pug” any raid instances that is on the calendar for the raid week.

§23. Raiders must know what raids they have been “confirmed” for. Failing to be online 5 minutes before the raid starting time will make the spot vacant. Replacements can be brought in. By giving notice in due time to the raid leader he can choose to hold your spot for you, for as long as the raid leader whishes.

§24. When a raider is put on “standby” he/she might get pulled in as replacement.

§25. Confirmation of spots is mainly based on time of acceptance.

§26. Our raids last for 3 hours. This can be lengthened by saying so in the invite. This can be shortened by raid leader`s call in the raid. If a player cannot stay for the full length of the raid, the player must let raid leader know before the raid starts. If something urgent comes up, the player will be excused for an early leave. Any form of misuse of excused leave might get the raider demoted.

§27. Tactics will be decided by the raid leader. Suggestions or information about the fight can be given on his/her demand.

§28. The raid leader has full discretion in all decisions in the raid. The raid leader will be held responsible for his decisions; discussions will be taken after the raid.

§29. Loot in 25 man raids will be sold for DKP. All players in the raid will receive 6 (progress raid) or 2 (farm raid) DKP per 10 minute. A raid is viewed as on farm when the instance has been fully cleared by the guild 3 times.

Loot in 10 man will be sorted by the group.

Raids for members and alts.

§29. Members and alts can raid what instances they like, when they like. Going in an instance on alt (in guild or not) when your main raider is confirmed will instantly lead to demotion of raider.

Switching main character.

§30. A raider can switch his main/alt character. To do this the main will have to ask his class leader if it`s ok. The class leader should be as helpful as possible with this request. The alt has to apply for raider rank. One player can ask for a switch every third month.
DKP will not be carried over.
Switches will be limited when the guild is working progressing new instances.

Inactive members
§31. Mains will be kicked from the guild when they have at least 1 month of inactivity. The player’s history and tie to the guild will influence the decision to kick. A player can ask for extended time of inactivity before removal.
